Discover Lincoln Park, Texas: A Growing Community

Lincoln Park is located on U.S. Highway 380 about nine miles east of Denton in east central Denton County. The community began as a mobile home park and incorporated about 1970. Lincoln Park has continued to grow throughout its existence and reported a population of 39 in 1980. That number increased to 287 in 1990 and 517 in 2000. The community is residential south of U.S. 380 and more commercial north of the highway, with restaurants and a convenience store. Denton County provides police service and nearby Aubrey furnishes fire and ambulance service. Lincoln Park has a mayor and city council.
