Published: April 27, 2005
Marshall Creek is located off U.S. Highway 377 about fourteen miles southwest of Denton in southern Denton County. The town, possibly named for a stream in the area, was incorporated in the mid-1980s and by 1990 reported a population of 315 residents. By 2000 the population had increased to 431. Marshall Creek is one of a number of suburbs in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
