Discover Morgan Creek: A Hidden Gem in Burnet County

Morgan Creek is located off Farm Road 2341 about nine miles northwest of Burnet in western Burnet County. The residential development on Lake Buchanan began in the 1960s and was named for an area creek. Tourist maps in the mid-1960s identified the development as Morgan Creek Village. In 2000, when the first population figures were available, the community reported seventy-six residents.
