Peach Creek is a small rural community located on Farm Road 159 about fifteen miles southeast of Bryan in southeastern Brazos County. The first settlers came to this area in the late 1800s and named the community after a nearby creek. The earliest marked graves in Peach Creek Cemetery date to the 1870s. Pioneering families include the Allens, Marquarts, Barkers, and Days. By the early 1900s Peach Creek had a school and Riverside Dancehall which served as the center of social activities. In the second half of the twentieth century the school was closed. No population estimates were available in 2000.
